Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has outlined a phased approach for reopening businesses in the state starting on May 11.

All individuals are required to wear masks. Businesses will need to meet guidelines for safety, including having the appropriate PPE and be ready for on-site health checks. The Governor has cautioned that in all cases businesses must adhere to the “10 Rules to Reopening” outlined by the state, along with any industry specific requirements.

Businesses opening on May 11 include manufacturing, construction, vehicle and vessel dealerships, professional services (at 50% of pre-outbreak capacity), pet grooming and boarding.

Retailers and houses of worship are allowed to open on May 20 and barbers, salons, cosmetology businesses and similar services on May 25.
