Elaine Sullivan, a resident of Beaverton, Ore., and formerly of Fulton, passed away May 20. She was 89.

Private graveside services were held at Greenlea Cemetery with Rev. Robert Drury officiating and burical in Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.

Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John Sullivan, of Paducah, Pat and Roseanne Sullivan, of Franklin, Tenn., and Michael and Teri Sullivan, of Beaverton, Ore.; and seven loving grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Sullivan, to whom she was wed Feb. 15, 1958; her parents, John and Clara May Mahar; and five brothers and sisters.

She lived in Fulton for over 40 years. She was the school secretary for Fulton City High School and was also secretary for the Banana Festival for many years.

However, her favorite job was that of Mother to her three sons, John, Pat and Mike.

She was an active member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Fulton, until she moved to Oregon four years ago.
