TIME OF COMMUNITY PRAYER SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 6 AT PONTOTOC PARK

A number of Twin Cities Ministers and Pastors have partnered together to hold a time of community prayer this Saturday, June 6, from 9-10 a.m. at Fulton's Pontotoc Park. According to Brooks Chapel Ministries Pastor Jessie Webb, one of the organizers for the event, the public is invited to attend and participate in the time of prayer for the local communities of Fulton and South Fulton, the surrounding areas, states and the country. Pastor Webb said Brooks Chapel, South Fulton Baptist, Mt. Olive, Greater Antioch, First Baptist, First United Methodist, Mt. Carmel, Greater Deliverance, Jacksonville Freewill Baptist, United Church of the Living God, Bells Chapel, Church of the Nazarene and Trinity Episcopal Churches have expressed support for the unified effort to pray at this time. For a portion of the event, the section of West State Line between Fulton's Pontotoc Park and South Fulton's Unity Park will be closed, for a gathering beneath the Welcome to the Twin Cities sign, crossing over the street.
