Peggy L. Holloway, a lifelong resident of this area went home to be with the Lord on Wed., Aug. 20, 2020. She was 88.

She was born on July 20 1932 in Graves County, Ky. to the late Audie and Iva Campbell Russell. She married William David Holloway, Jr. Sept. 15, 1953. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1987.

She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church, Fulton, where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School class and the Second Milers.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ann and Sonny Shepherd, of South Fulton; and a son, David Keith Holloway, of South Fulton.

She was Mimi to a granddaughter and her husband, Kelly and Ja Key of Union City, Tenn.; and two grandsons David Shepherd and Jamie Holloway, both of South Fulton.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Boyd and Judith Russell; and her daughter-in-law, Sherri Holloway, who passed on July 23, 2020.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1140, Fulton, Ky., 42041.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sun., Aug. 30 at the Obion County Memorial Gardens with Pastor Stephen Cavness of First Baptist Church officiating.

There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, of Fulton, is in charge of arrangements.
