Cromika advances to Regional level on links

South Fulton High School’s Logan Cromika shot a 50, a Red Devils’ Golf Team leader during play on Sept. 8, against McKenzie, Martin Westview and Gleason.

McKenzie’s team shot a combined 180, recording the lowest individual score of the match, a 39.

Westview shot a team combined 200.

For South Fulton, Griffin Redden carded a 55, Jackson Barnes had a 56, Riley Alexander and Gibson Horner shot a 57 and Daniel Pitts, a 71.

At Union City’s tournament on Sept. 10, the Red Devils shot a combined total of 442, lead once again by Cromika with a 103. Riley Alexander shot a 108, Jackson Barnes, a 115, Griffen Redden, 116, Daniel Pitts, 119 and Gibson Horner, 129.

Union City won the match over South Fulton, Gibson County and Henry County, led by Carter Walton with a tournament winning 78. The Tornados combined for a 343 for the match.

Gibson County came in second with a 353 and Henry County, third, with a 354.
