Don Jones, a resident of Choctaw, Okla., died Sept. 8 in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was 66.

Funeral services were held in Oklahoma City on Sept. 12.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Stewart Jones, whom he married Dec. 21, 1985; his mother, Evelyn (Billy) Milner, of South Fulton; one son, Chris Jones, of Union City, Tenn.; one daughter; Erin Griffith, of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Fallon (Danny) Marshall, of Odon, Ind., Skylar (Emily) Jones, of South Fulton, Destinee (Wyatt) Walker, of Latham, Tenn., and Colton Mayo stationed in Fort Bragg, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Everly and Parker Marshall and Juliet Jones; one brother, Bill (Barbara) Jones, of Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Vickie (Mark) Batts, of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, W. C. Jones.

Born Aug. 14, 1954 to Evelyn Jones Milner and the late William Clinton Jones, he was a 1973 graduate of South Fulton High School.
He went on to serve in the United States Air Force, where he received training as an electronics technician.
After his military service, he worked for Diebold for a number of years before starting his own security alarms business.
He was devoted to his family and close friends.
