Kentucky State Police Arrest Fulton City Man After Graves County Pursuit
Mayfield, KY. (January 25, 2021) – On Monday around 2:03p.m. Officer Mark Townsend observed a Nissan Rogue traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 69 approaching his vehicle. Townsend attempted to stop the vehicle where the operator identified at 27 year-old David Harrison of Fulton City accelerated continuing to travel on I-69. The pursuit continued into the city of Mayfield where Harrison struck a curb disabling his vehicle. Harrison fled from the vehicle where here was located and taken into custody by Townsend.
Harrison was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail, charged with the following
Reckless Driving
Fleeing and Evading 1st (Vehicle)
Fleeing and Evading 1st (Foot)
Wanton Endangerment 1st
No Operators License
Harrison was also charged with two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Townsend is investigating and was assisted by members of the Mayfield Police Department and Graves County Sheriff's Office.
