Pauline Bowling, a resident of Hickman, died March 21 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held March 26 at 2 p.m. at Strong Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Spence conducting the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Memorial cemetery near Fulton. Visitation will be held March 26 at Strong Funeral Home from 12 noon until the hour of service.

Strong Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, George Bowling, of Hickman; a son, Allen Bowling, of Union City, Tenn.; two daughters, Michele Bowling, of Hickman, and Christina Smothers, of Mayfield; four brothers, Roy Conley, of Smithland, Jerry Conley, of Wyoming, Rick Conley, of Cayce, and Bob Conley, of Fulton; one sister, Patsy Garza, of Portage, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eula Conley; and a brother, Tom Conley.

She will be remembered for her part in the Hickman’s own TV station, Channel 13. She was operator and broadcaster for the former local station.

She was of Pentecostal faith.
