Stewart, FCHS Senior, places in Regional level

Remington Stewart, a Senior at Fulton County High School, recently earned Second Place in the Region at the Aquaculture Impromptu Speaking Leadership Development event.

Stewart will represent the Fulton County FFA Chapter at the Kentucky FFA State Convention this summer.

The Impromptu Public Speaking Leadership Development Event is to foster and develop the speaking abilities of FFA members as well as develop their self-confidence and contribute to their advancement in inter-personal skill attainment and leadership development.

Students are required to write their speech in 60 minutes about an Aquaculture topic and then present their speech to a panel of judges. Students are scored based on the content of their speech as well as how well they deliver their speech.
