Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 are investigating a weekend collision that claimed the life of one man. Friday, May 21st, around 11:00 p.m., KSP Post 1 received a call from Fulton County Dispatch requesting Troopers respond near the 2 mile marker on the southbound side of Interstate 69. Preliminary investigation by Troopers reveal that Ronnie G. Win berry, 60 of Malvern, Arkansas was traveling South on I-69, operating a 2018 Peterbuilt semi. For unknown reasons, Winberry struck a stationary state signage truck.

Winberry suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fulton County Coroner’s Office. Winberry was wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision.

The investigation is ongoing at this time and is being conducted by Trooper Cody Jackson
