Don Michael (Mike) Homra, a resident of Fulton, died June 18, 2021 at his residence. He was 84.

A private service will be held. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, of Fulton, is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by four daughters, Michelle Wheat (Joe Ray), of Union City, Tenn., Valerie Johnstone (Mark), of Jackson, Tenn., Stephanie Simmons (Chip), of Lexington, and Bridget Pirtle (David Mack), of Fulton; nine grandchildren, Kelly McDaniel (Shane), of Lexington, Kristen Greer, of Union City, Foster Johnstone, of Charleston, S.C., Mary Parker Johnstone, of Memphis, Tenn., Aline Wells Johnstone, of Annapolis, Md., and Molly Simmons and Maggie Simmons, of Lexington; Elizabeth Pirtle and Annie Ruth Pirtle, of Fulton; and three great-grandchildren, Myla McDaniel, Maddox McDaniel and Mason McDaniel, all of Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Elias Homra and Aline Noffel Homra; his wife, Joan Tune Homra; and his brother, William A. (Bill) Homra.

Born March 13, 1937 in Fulton, he was the owner/operator of Leader Store and Leader Travel and a member of First United Methodist Church. He had lived in the area all of his life.
