JOHNS WINS 2021 KEN-TENN TOURNAMENT

·South Fulton native Justin Johns has claimed the Championship flight honors and crown for this past weekend’s Ken-Tenn Men’s Invitational Golf Tournament, at Fulton Country Club, with 119 golfers competing.

Johns, the son of Ronnie and Teri Johns of South Fulton, carded a 71 and a 65 over the two-day tournament to secure his win.

Trent Odle placed second in the championship flight, with a 70 and a 67; Ron Mangold shot a 73 and 66 for third place in that flight; and Robert Lents came in fourth with a 70 and a 69. B. Cabellero shot a 77 and 64; C. Martin, 79-68; M. Brockwell, 78-69; and T. Gilliland, 77-70 in the championship flight.
Topping out the first flight was John Slayton in 1st with a 65/75 followed by Trent Johnson, 2nd with a 70/71, David Kent Brundige, 3rd with a 70/72 and Bo Biehslich, 4th with a 70/73..
Chad Odle was 1st in the second flight with 73/79, Mike Bradley, 2nd with a 74/79, Nick Chaney, 3rd with a 73/81 and Mike Hawks, 4th with a 73/81.

In the third flight, John Pickle was 1st with 79/85, Jimmy White, 2nd with 79/85, C. Wright 3rd, with 79/88 and Jon Paitsel, 4th, 79/89.

Senior flight winners were Randy Cooper, 1st, with 73/70, Mitch Moss, 2nd with 72/73, John Campbell, 3rd with 74/72 and David Marlow, 4th with 75/73.

Super Senior flight winners were Terry Beadles, 1st place with 74/74, Johnny Campbell, 2nd with 71/78, Rusty Anderson, 3rd with 79/72 and Ted Barclay, 4th with 77/77.
