Martha Moore, of Fulton, died Aug. 23 at her residence.

She was born on Oct.17, 1931 in Fulton to the late Buford Sisson and Dola Clark Sisson.

She was a retired office worker for the former Ferry Morse Seed Company, and was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was involved in the Twin Cities Community Meal and started the group “Coffee with a Twist”. She had lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Newton, of Fulton, and Susan (Ricky) Rothschild, of Union City, Tenn.; her son, Hoyt (Leigh Ann) Moore, of South Fulton; grandchildren, Ben (Macie) Mullins, of Wingo, Ryan (Katie) Mullins, of Nepean, Ontario, Canada, and Dr. Andrew Moore, of Chicago, Ill.; two great-grandchildren, Cade and Coby Mullins; and a sister, Ann (Bob) Melton, of Dresden, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack H. Moore; and two brothers, James Sisson and Charles Sisson.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at the First United Methodist Church, In Fulton. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
