Banana Festival Rotary Car Show results announced

The Banana Festival’s Rotary Club Car, Truck, Bike and Tractor Show, held Saturday, chaired by Amanda Morris and Kenny Mayo, has released winners for this year’s event, held on Lake Street in Fulton.

Best of Show for the day’s event was earned by Todd Day.

James Woods was awarded the Best Custom Motorcycle award, with Irvin Stroud claiming the Best Stock Motorcycle Award, and G.B. Rice, Best Custom Car Award.

Best Stock Car award went to Darryl Fulcher, Best Custom Truck award to Clem Wright and Best Stock Truck award, to Irvin Stroud.

Wyatt Walker won the Best Tractor Award, with Lyna Byrd claiming the Best Under Construction award and Justin Cantrell, the Best Undercarriage award.

Best Engine award was earned by Becky Parker, Tony Watson earned the Best Race Car award and Joe Dowdy won the Best Jeep award.

In the Best 4 x 4 category, Terry Jones took home the winning entry, with Kirk Snead winning the Best Interior award, Trapper Boettcher winning Best Rat Rod and Tim Bowman, winning Best Anything Goes award.

The Mayor’s Choice award was earned by Kathy Fleming, the Rotary’s Choice award was earned by Butch Williams and “Brandi’s Choice” award went to Amelia Brown.

Brian Nelson won the Best Lowrider award, Randy Casey, traveling 947 miles, won the Longest Traveled award, and Best Paint award was earned by Chad Davis.

Top 40 awards were distributed to David Snuggs, Trapper Boettcher, Rod Hager, Josh Bushnell, Lowell Grooms, Eric Cooley, Austin Kessel, Stephen S., Nick Rice, Lynn Hendrix, Charlie McElya, Ron owell, Keith Jones, Randall McGowan, Zayne Fisher, Todd Carter, Richard Jackson, Mike Hall, B.J. Potts, Everett Brimm, Blacke Chandler, Michael Alexander, Donald and Rita Hazelwood, Jimmy Thorpe, Brennan Wicker, David Roberson, Belinda Brockwell, Keith Lowry, Franklin Hawks, Jeff Alford, Berry King, Brant Barnett, Scott Slimp, Nathaniel Gibson, Steve Tibbs, Adam Cooper, Tommy Hancock, Hunter Armstrong and James Neill.
