AREA OBITUARIES -- HAROLD LEWIS ALLEN

Harold Lewis Allen, 87, of Odessa, Texas and formerly of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on January 6, 1935 in Mountain View, Mo., to the late William N. Allen and Ruby O'Brien Allen.

He was a United States Army veteran and worked as a Safety Inspector for Lockheed Martin in Milan, Tenn. for 30 years. He lived most of his life in this area.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet Lotz Allen of Odessa; his children, Pam Brightman (Robert) of Odessa, Jeff (Juile) Allen of Bush, La., Christina (Christopher Brown) of Odessa, and Nichole Groves of Milwaukee, Wis.; his grandchildren, Morgan Holtzclaw of Odessa, Adrian Morrow of Odessa, Whitney Nazario (Sabastin) of San Antonio, Texas, Lacie (Collin) Barilleaux of Lafayette, La., Cooper and Stella Groves, both of Milwaukee, Wis., and Nicholas Brown of Symsonia, Ky.; his great-grandchildren, Zoey Nazario of San Antonio, Xander Nazario of San Antonio, Averie Barilleaux and Asher Barilleaux, both of Lafayette; two sisters, Lora James of South Fulton, Tenn. and Rose Oliver of Fulton, Ky.; and a brother, George Allen of South Fulton, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Don Allen, Merle Allen, Duane Allen and JR Allen; and two sisters, Barbara Tidwell and Mary Olive.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation held at Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
