PUBLIC HEARING PRECEDES SOUTH FULTON CITY COMMISSION MEETING TONIGHT

A public hearing will be held tonight, Thurs., Feb. 16 at 4:50 p.m., preceding the regular meeting of the South Fulton City Commission at 5 p.m., in the South Fulton Municipal Complex commission room. The purpose of the meeting is to give the public an opportunity to become acquainted with a proposed project and to comment on economic and environment impact, service areas, alternatives and other issues. The project is in regard to the city's intent to file an application for financial assistance for a wastewater treatment plant improvement with the U.S.D.A. , Rural Development, specific elements of the proposed project includes removal of sludge blowers with covers in tank aeration piping, telescoping valves decant drain yard piping and electrical services.
