South Fulton's Lady Red Devils had the home court advantage for the quarterfinal first round of Regional Tournament play Feb. 23, when they hosted Jackson Central Merry.

Maddie Gray led the way for South Fulton's girls, with 23 points, sinking five 3-point goals, another basket for 2 points and hitting 6 of 7 free throws, on the way to a 63-44 Lady Red Devil win and an advance to the semi-finals on Saturday night, Feb. 25 at the University of Tennessee at Martin's Elam Center at 7:30 p.m. against Trenton Peabody.

Katie Barclay pumped in four 3's of her own plus a 2 for her 14 points in the victory, with Abbi McFarland hitting three 3's, a 2-point goal and a free throw.

Anna Gore had 10 for the Lady Devils, one basket good from 3-point range, two 2-point buckets and connecting on 3 of 4 trips to the line. Aubree gore hit 3 out of 3 at the line and hit a 2-point goal for her 5 points on the night.

South Fulton scored 22 points in the first quarter, and another 20 in the second for a 42 point total at the half. In the third and fourth quarters, the Lady Devils put up 10 and 11 points, respectively, for the 63 point total against Jackson Central Merry.

JCM was only allowed 13 points in the first round of play, and a total of 24 at the halftime buzzer, putting up 11 points in the third and 9 points in the final quarter.

Nysha Webster had 11 points for Jackson Central Merry and Alex Haynes scored 10 points.
