The front lawn of the South Fulton Municipal Complex lawn on Broadway, will be the site April 1 for the annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the South Fulton Parks and Recreation Board, with assistance from the Fulton Parks Board.

Events to be staged from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in addition to the hunts, include rides on the Shriners Train, admission to the Railroaders Museum, up close viewing of emergency vehicles including the South Fulton Fire Department trucks, Ken-Tenn EMS ambulance vehicles, law enforcement vehicles, Air-Evac helicopter, weather permitting, bump-in-jumps, face painting and give-aways. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available. All events are free to those in attendance.

The first hunt for the youngest age division starts at 12 noon, with the second hunt to follow at 12:20 p.m. for the next age division, and the oldest age division to hunt at 12:40 p.m. All hunt participants may visit the staff tent for a free ticket to hunt, which will enter them into a drawing for two prizes in each age division. Older youth may also obtain a ticket to be entered in a drawing for a hover board.

There is no cost to attend or participate in any of the events or the hunt.
