AREA OBITUARIES -- LOLA B. MURCHISON

Mrs. Lola B. Murchison, age 91, of Clinton, Ky. passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Clinton- Hickman County I.C.F.

She was born on April 15, 1932 in Graves County, Ky. to the late Nolan Holmes and Fannie Ozell Norman

Holmes.

Lola was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Union City, Tenn. and was a homemaker. She lived most of her life in this area.

She is survived by two daughters: Phyllis (Jim) Bergant of Louisville, Ky. and Dena Jane Murchison (James) Morris

of Springfield, Tenn., two sons: Charles Reginald "Regie" (Debby) Hancock of Troy, Tenn. and Jerry Lee (Karen) Hancockof Danville, Virginia, a step-daughter Leann (Freddie) Frizzell of Fulton, Ky., 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren,two sisters: Alta Lee Perry of Union City, Tenn. and Norma Hopwood of Symsonia, Ky.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Charles Hancock and her second husband, James Angelo Murchison

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023 in the funeral chapel of Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton, with burial to follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Sunday until the hour of service.
