South Fulton Middle School Honors Banquet award recipients spotlighted

SFMS 110% AWARDS -- During the April 30 South Fulton Middle School Academic Top 10 and Awards reception held in the SFMS/HS cafeteria, for students and guests, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students were honored for their "above and beyond" efforts in the classroom, earning the 110% Award. SFMS EIGHTH GRADE HONORS SPOTLIGHTED -- South Fulton Middle School eighth grade students were among those spotlighted during the April 30 SFMS Academic Top 10 and Awards reception held for students and guests in the SFMS/HS cafeteria. Recipients of the K.M. Winston High Achievement Awards, nominated by school staff for their leadership and scholarship were, seated, Gavin Dixon and Abigail Hardy. Recipients of the American Legion Award, presented by local American Legion Commander Don Robertson, were, standing, Seth Dunn and Callie Tucker. SFMS MIDDLE SCHOOL BETA CLUB MEMBERS HONORED -- South Fulton Middle School Beta Club members were recognized by Beta Club sponsors, teachers Leah McFarland and Marina Greer during the April 30 SFMS Academic Top 10 and Awards reception held in the school cafeteria, for students and guests. Club members Kaylin Tucker, Callie Tucker and Cherish Nance received special awards for their three-person team which competed in the State Beta Club competition for "Book Battle", which required reading and testing over a number of books, ultimately resulting in the team placing fourth in the state.
