KYTC TO CLOSE FULTON CO. SECTION OF KY 2140 MAY 19 FOR REPAIRS

PADUCAH, Ky. (May 17, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 2140 in Fulton County on Friday, May 19, 2023.

KY 2140 will be closed near the 3 mile marker to allow a cross drain to be replaced. This daytime closure is along KY 2140 between KY 1129 and KY 94.

KY 2140 is expected to close promptly at 7:30 a.m., CDT, on Friday. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:30 p.m., Friday.

There will be no marked detour. Motorists may self-detour via the north and south ends of KY 2140.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely notice should the roadway reopen to traffic earlier than expected.
