AREA OBITUARIES -- RUTH CURLIN

Mrs. Ruth Curlin, 86, of Clinton, Ky., passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Clinton-Hickman County I.C.F. in Clinton, Ky.

She was born on January 14, 1937 in Hickman County, Ky., to the late Samuel Newton Stacey and Mable Dean Gibson Stacey.

Ruth was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church where she was very active and was active in the community.

She had retired from the Department of Human Resources as an Administrative Assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Curlin, to whom she was married December 18, 1955; two sons, Keith Curlin of Union City, Tenn., and Gregory Scott (Melanie) Curlin of Fulton, Ky.; three grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob) McKinnis of Union City, Tenn., Casey (Layton) Scarbrough of Henderson, Ky., and Allie (Matthew) Webb of Wildwood, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Drew McKinnis of Union City, Tenn., Wesley James McKinnis of Union City, Tenn., Harrison Lee Webb and Eloise Webb of Wildwood, Missouri.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sabrina Ann Curlin; two brothers, Lonnie and Swayne Cole, and a sister, Louise Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with Bro. Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17 until the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
