AREA OBITUARIES - CYNTHIA MARIE RAY

Mrs. Cynthia Marie Ray, age 81, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born on May 30, 1942 in Memphis, Tenn., to the late Robert Glen Oliver and Annie Montez Cruce Oliver.

Cynthia was of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith and worked for the former JE Campbell Construction with her

husband, Donald. She traveled with him as his job clerk. She lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray, whom she married on August 12, 1960, a son, Brian Ray of Memphis, Tenn., and a sister, Monette Oliver (Eddie) Williams, of Cayce, Ky..

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a niece, Devonda Orsborne.

Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M Saturday, August 12, 2023, in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 A.M. Saturday until the hour of service.
