AREA OBITUARIES -- GARRETT WILKERSON

Mr. Garrett Lee Wilkerson, age 60, of Hickman, Ky. passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on December 23, 1962 in Hickman, to Billy Lloyd Wilkerson and Jettie Myatt Wilkerson of

Hickman, Ky.

Garrett was a former truck driver for Southern Concrete and loved fishing, collecting guns and coyote hunting.

He lived all of his life in this area.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cecelia Lingafelt Wilkerson, whom he married June 4, 2011 and a sister, Lynne (Claude) Morgan of Union City, Tenn.

He is preceded in death by a nephew, William James and a great-nephew, Jayce James.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the West Hickman Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in the Rush Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the West Hickman Baptist Church from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Home-Hickman, is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Brad Lego, Ron Lego, Luke James, Pete Whitten, Buddy Amberg and Charlie Walker. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike Wilkerson.
