Calista Drone joins Discovery Park serving as museum store director

Union City, Tenn. – Calista Drone has joined Discovery Park of America in Union City, Tenn. as director of Discovery Park’s gift shop. Drone will be responsible for curating a selection of merchandise that complements the museum's exhibits and mission, to inspire children and adults to see beyond.

Drone comes to Discovery Park with 12 years of gift shop management experience. Most recently, she has been serving as the gift shop manager at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Drone received an associate degree from Southeastern Illinois Community College and two Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin, one specializing in accounting and the other in management. Drone grew up in Southern Illinois along the Shawnee National Forest, and now lives in Martin, Tenn.
