AREA OBITUARIES -- JOE EDWARD VAN HOFF

Mr. Joe Edward Van Hoff, age 92, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at

his residence.

He was born on November 14, 1930 in Chicago, Ill. to the late John Van Hoff and Lucille Kinney Van Hoff.

Joe was a United States Navy veteran where he served in the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of the former

Carson Street Electronics and was an avid golfer and fisherman.

He is survived by a step-son: Maxwell Bollinger of Huntington Beach, Calif., four step-grandchildren: Tyler Bollinger, Cody Kleinhans, Sabrina Hernandez and Jason Hernandez, a nephew Alex Van Hoff and three nieces, as well as several really good friends. He is also survived by Pete the cat.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Bollinger Van Hoff, a step-son Richard Bollinger, two brothers: John Van Hoff and Donald Thomas Van Hoff and a sister, Betty Van Hoff.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2023 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from

5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 27.
