South Fulton High School to host District 14A Tournament

South Fulton High School will host the District 14A Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association Girls and Boys and High School Basketball Tournament, beginning Feb. 15-19.

In Girls’ play, first, on Feb. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Dresden, #4 Dresden will play #5 Gleason.

The winner of that game, will then play South Fulton High School’s Lady Red Devils, #1, at SFHS on Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. The winner of that matchup will go on to play for the District Championship Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at SFHS.

Also on Feb. 12, Union City Lady Tornados, #3, will play Lake County girls, #6 at Union City at 6:30 p.m. The winner of that game will face off against #2 Greenfield Lady Jackets on Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at SFHS. Whoever comes out on top for that Feb. 15 contest, will advance to play in the District Championship game Feb. 17 at 7:30 at SFHS.

In Boys’ play, first, #4 Dresden will face off Feb. 13 against #5 Lake County at 6:30 p.m. at Dresden.

The winner of that match, will go up against Union City, #1, on Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at SFHS. After the Feb. 16 game pitting Union City against the winner of the Lake County-Dresden game, that winner will advance to the next round on Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at SFHS, when the District 14A champion will be determined.

Also on Feb. 13, #3 Gleason and #6 Greenfield will compete on Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Gleason, to determine who will face off with the #2 South Fulton High School Red Devils on Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at SFHS.

After the winner of the game on Feb. 16 is determined, between SFHS and the winner of the Gleason-Greenfield game, that Feb. 16 winner will advance to place on Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at SFHS, when the boys’ District champion will be determined.
