FISD Youth Track Club places in Top 3 at Meet

The Fulton Independent School District Bulldog Youth Track Club, students in grades first through eighth, competed the last weekend in April, in Jackson, Mo., against schools from Omaha, Ark., Sikeston, Mo., Poplar Bluff, Mo., Cape Girardeau, Mo., and as far away as Jefferson City, Mo.

Student-athletes who placed in the Top 3 in their division included Madison Acosta, 8th grade, second in discus, first in the 800m; Jamir Ward, 8th grade, first in 100m, first in 200m; J’Nyia Robinson, 8th grade, first in discus, third in 400m.

Other Fulton Independent student athletes who were awarded in the top three included Tacamieo Brown, 6th grade, third in discus, third in shot put; Dallas Acosta, 6th grade, second in 400m; Wesley Wyatt, 5th grade, 1st in 400m, first in 4 x 100m Relay Team; and earning a first place finish in the 4 x 100m Relay were team members Wesley Wyatt, Tacamieo Brown, Dallas Acosta and Jamir Ward.
