AREA OBITUARIES -- KENNETH LACEWELL

Mr. Kenneth R. Lacewell, age 77, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Sun., May 12, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on April 28, 1947, in Fulton, Ky. to the late Dorris Richard Lacewell and Helen Hutchens Lacewell.

Kenneth was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran, where he served two tours in Vietnam. He had worked at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, Tenn. and worked in the maintenance department, for 38 years until his retirement in 2007. He was also a member of the Roberts Lodge #172, Rizpah Shrine Temple and the Ken-Ten Shrine Club.

He is survived by his wife, Janis Mayhall Lacewell to whom he was married Oct. 24, 1970, a son Jeremy C. Lacewell of South Fulton, Tenn. and a grandson, Judd Whitmore of South Fulton, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons: Adrian R. Lacewell and Michael Brian Lacewell and a sister, Beverly Lacewell Miller.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with Dr. Ron Cox and Bro. Danny Zickefoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 with a Masonic service to be held

at 7 p.m..
