New Director named for Twin Cities Chamber

Following action taken by the Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce Board last week, Katrina Cobb of Martin, Tenn. has been named the new Chamber Director.

Cobb worked for 39 1/2 years in Public Television and has experience in facilitating promotions and special events, as well as managerial roles.

Her goals for the Chamber will include working closely with current members as well as seeking out new membership.

She said she appreciates the opportunity to work with businesses and industries in the community, and will make it her mission to not only spend time during regular scheduled hours at the Chamber office, but to also make on site visits to become acquainted with those who live and work in the Twin Cities.

She plans to be in the office, at the South Fulton Municipal Complex, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., however part of that time will be spent out in the community.

She is married to Ricky Cobb, a retired law enforcement officer. They are the parents of one daughter, Alicia Edwards, and her husband, Alex, and have one grandchild, Katie.
