AREA OBITUARIES -- RONALD GLEN STAIRS

Ronald Glen Stairs, age 82, of Wingo, Ky., passed away Thurs., June 27, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on May 8, 1942 in Detroit, Mich. to the late Doyce Glen Stairs and Dorothy Sue Owens Stairs.

He was a member of the Riceville Baptist Church and was a self employed carpenter. He was a graduate of Mid Continent Baptist Bible College.

He is survived by a son, Greg (Wendy) Stairs, of Clinton, Ky.; two grandchildren, Trent Stairs, of Clinton, Ky., and Gracie Stairs, of Mayfield, Ky.; and two brothers, Jimmy (Linda) Stairs, of Murray, Ky., and Terry (Linda) Stairs, of Fulgham, Ky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Latham Stairs, whom passed away Nov. 24, 2023; and a son, Jeff Stairs.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sun., June 30, 2024 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Clark Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1PM Sunday until the hour of service.
