PATRIOTS’ PRIDE – During the Fulton Railroaders baseball game at Lohaus Field July 4, special recognition was extended to those who served our country, by the Railroaders team members and staff. The Railroaders went on to win the Independence Day battle against the Hopkinsville Hoppers. Thanks to Fulton Tourism Commission the first 300 spectators to the game received free general admission. FAITH AND FUN ON THE FOURTH – Hickman First United Methodist Church family was on hand for an Independence Day celebration at the corner of Carroll and Tennessee Streets in Hickman, handing out free hot dogs, water, popsicles and glow sticks to visitors. The group provided a tent for shade as well, from 7:30-9 p.m. July 4th, as crowds gathered to watch the annual fireworks display launched from the Hickman harbor.
