Senior celebration Saturday

All area seniors, age 55 and older are invited by Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S. organization, to celebrate Twin Cities’ Senior Citizens Day event Aug. 24.

Activities will get underway at 10 a.m. that day and last until 12 noon at downtown Fulton’s Pontotoc Park community center.

Parking will be available surrounding the Pontotoc Center as well as across the street in South Fulton’s Unity Park parking lot.

Asssistance will be available to help attendees cross the street.

The Shriners Train will be ready to provide a train ride tour, with “Oldies but Goodies” music, engaging games, delicious refreshments and plenty of opportunities to win door prizes, part of the festivities planned.
