Obion Co. Budget Committee Meeting
The Obion County Budget Committee will meet on Tues., Sept. 3, at 9 a.m. in the meeting room of the Obion County Mayor’s Office, in Union City, Tenn. The meeting is open to the public.
Homecoming
Liberty Baptist Church on Middle Road Fulton will host Homecoming on Sun., Sept. 15, starting at 10:30 a.m. Bro. Tommy Stewart will bring the message along with Larry Lewis leading the music. A fellowship meal will follow after the service. The public s invited to attend.
Extension District Board Meeting
The Fulton County Extension District Board will meet on Aug 30, 2024, at Noon. This meeting is open to the public. For more information, call 270-236-2351.
Foodbank Dates
The Ken-Tenn Foodbank, 212 Carr St., Fulton, will distribute commodities to Fulton County Seniors, CSFP, living in poverty, Aug. 30 from 9-11 a.m. The maximum income for a household of one is $1,473 monthly with $517 added for each additional person in the house.
S.O.S. Lunch Bunch
Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S., a 501(c)(3) organization, invites all area seniors, ages 55 and over, to gather together for “Lunch Bunch”, a time for dutch treat lunch and fellowship the first Monday of each month at 11 a.m. at the Fulton Pizza Hut, 1101 West Highland Drive, in Fulton.
Treasure Bingo
Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S., a 501(c)(3) organization, will host “Treasure Bingo” on the fourth Friday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the Harvey Vick Room of the South Fulton Municipal Complex. All seniors age 55 and older are invited to attend. There is no cost to participate. Those planning to attend may bring one item from home, which they no longer use or want, to be used as a bingo prize.
S.O.S. Senior Night Out
Smiles on Seniors, S.O.S. Senior Night Out meet for dinner each second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at ElVallarta Mexican Restaurant, on Middle Road in Fulton. All seniors age 55 and older are invited to attend the meal.
Breakfast Buddies
The Smiles On Seniors Breakfast Buddies will meet at 9 a.m. at Buttercup’s Bistro on the third Thursday of each month for dutch treat breakfast. All seniors ages 55 and older are invited to attend.
Storehouse Ministries
Storehouse Ministries, 311 Main St., Fulton, accepts donations of time, money, clothes, food and toys, available at no cost to anyone in need. Storehouse Ministries appreciates all contributions received over the past year, and will continue to accept all donations.
