What: Discovery Park of America is hosting its second annual Northwest Tennessee Native American Powwow Thursday, Sept. 19-Sunday, Sept. 2, 2024. Friday, Sept. 20
Though everyone is invited to attend, this Friday’s festivities are designed with students in mind, featuring engaging educational experiences. Highlights include 'Birds of Prey' demonstrations by Reelfoot Lake State Park, Choctaw storytelling and dancing, powwow drum song exhibitions and hoop dancing demonstrations.
