AREA OBITUARIES -- LEA ANN FRIZZELL

Lea Ann Frizzell, 71, of Clinton, Ky. passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxine and Frank Pierce of Caruthersville, Mo., and her sister, Terre Kay Pierce, of Springfield, Mo. She worked at and retired from Harper’s Country Hams in Clinton, Ky.

 Lea Ann had a sweet soul and was always willing to offer a helping hand, a comforting hug, or words of encouragement.  She loved being around children of all ages.  Lea Ann was a member of Crutchfield Methodist Church for many years and enjoyed helping her church family with special events and services.  She is survived by her brother, Mike Pierce, son, Michael Jon Robertson, grandchildren, Chloe (Callen) Aldridge, Cooper Robertson and Brody Robertson; niece, Jamie (Denver) Buchannan; great nephews, Atlas Buchannan and Cy Buchannan; niece, Emily Taylor (Steve McCall); uncle, Don (Lori) Robertson, and cousin Carly Robertson.  Family members, Elizabeth (Rodney) Pyle, Caela Black (Ben Wyland), Ryker Wyland, Gemma Wyland, Macade Pyle (Lauren Pittman and son, Cruz) will also miss Lea Ann’s sweet smile and warm hug. 

 Visitation only will be held on Thurs., Oct. 10, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton, Ky.  The family will visit from 4– 5 p.m., and friends are invited to join them from 5 – 7 p.m..  In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
