RAILROADERS' OWNERS STEPPING DOWN RAILROADERS' OWNERS STEPPING DOWN

To the Editor:

The summer of 2019, Tammy and I was introduced to the Fulton Railroaders.
Garrett was invited to play and I was asked to be an assistant coach. Garrett still says it was the most fun he ever had playing baseball. We met some incredible people and fell in love with the great town of Fulton.
I was asked to be head coach for three years after that season. It was an honor to say I was head coach of the Fulton Railroaders.
Then came the end of 2022 and Tammy and I heard that the team was being sold and possibly moving out of Fulton. We could not let that happen and decided to buy the team and give it our best shot to make it the best experience for everyone that came out.
The best part was standing in the opening of the tunnel and just watching our great crowds cheer on our Railroaders! After two years of giving it all we had, we have decided that it is time to move on.
We have a sweet addition to our family in a granddaughter and want to be able to spend time with our family, as well as, other obligations and distance that will not allow us to continue to do the job that is needed.
We are so grateful for everyone in the Fulton area that made us part of your families during the months of June and July.
Thank you to all the sponsors and host families that gave our players a place to call home while in Fulton. Special thank you to all that helped us on a daily basis.
We love the Railroaders and if anyone is interested in taking over we will support and help in anyway we can.
Thank you and God Bless.
