AREA OBITUARIES -- BOBBYE FOSTER
Bobbye Louise Foster passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024 at the age of 96. At the time of her passing she was in the hearts of those she loved the most. Her family and friends are heartbroken by her passing but will remember the love, laughter, spontaneity and energy she brought to every occasion.
She was born July 22, 1928, to Lois and Clifton Austin of Water Valley. Bobbye was a graduate of Wingo High School. On June 2, 1946, she married Mose Foster. She loved sewing and spending time with friends everywhere.
She actively participated in Pilot Oak Baptist Church.

An important part of her life was her time at Ferry-Morse where her career, of more than 30 years, resulted in numerous awards for professional achievements plus built a cadre of friendships for life.
Bobbye had a vibrant life full of love, fun, activity and travel. She made everyone laugh and left lasting impressions on those she touched.
Bobbye was an avid traveler who enjoyed exploring new places and made friends wherever she went. Her travels with Mose took her to all 50 states as well as numerous trips to other countries. A lifetime of good friends, years of fun activities and visits with family made for a fulfilled life for Bobbye.
Definitely a life well lived. To the very end she continued to shape lives and provide hope to her friends, family and caregivers.
Bobbye is survived by her children Roma King (James) and Rodney Foster. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ginger Bondurant (Skipper), Jim Ed King (Cristina), Ryan Foster, Blake Foster, Vanessa Foster, Summer Foster. Great grandchildren include Carter Bondurant, Shelby Bondurant, Maxx King, Maggie King, Maddox King and Willow King.
She was preceded in death by husband, Mose, of 64 years, as well as sister Jean Rushing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with a private committal at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
