Thanksgiving food boxes offered locally by area churches

The churches of the Twin Cities of Fulton and South Fulton will provide a Thanksgiving food box this year to families in need from South Fulton and Fulton County.
The boxes will include ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey breast or turkey (depends on availability), stuffing/dressing mix, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, gravy mix, rolls and dessert.
These boxes will be available for pick up at the Ken-Tenn Foodbank on Carr Street in Fulton, Sat., Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
To be eligible to receive the Thanksgiving food box, recipients must complete a form and return it, either to the Fulton First United Methodist Church office, also located on Carr Street in Fulton or to the Foodbank.
Forms may be mailed, after completed, to the Foodbank at P.O. Box 1274, Fulton Ky. 42041 or the completed form may be deposited in the black mailbox in front of the Foodbank’s south front door.
These applications must be returned by Nov. 1, 2024, in order to receive a box. Only the first 250 applications will be accepted.
The applicant’s name, address, number of people in the household and contact telephone number must be included.
