SFHS A.F. BRIDGES AWARD DIVISIONAL FINALIST
South Fulton High School has been selected as an A.F. Bridges Divisional Finalist. This prestigious award, presented by TSSAA, is given to just 27 schools across Tennessee in recognition of their dedication to promoting positive sportsmanship and citizenship throughout the 2023-24 school year. Named after A.F. Bridges, TSSAA’s first executive secretary, the award honors schools that uphold the ideals of ethics, integrity, sportsmanship, and citizenship – values that form the foundation of the “Just Do What’s Right!” program. At the TSSAA Regional Meeting, South Fulton High School Principal Laura Pitts and Athletic Director Jeremy McFarland proudly accepted the award on behalf of the school. Along with a special banner, the school’s Athletic Department also received a $1,500 check in support of their continued commitment to excellence.
