AREA OBITUARIES -- PATRICIA ANNE VAUGHAN
Mrs. Patricia Anne Vaughan, age 79, of Wingo, Ky. passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Patricia was born in Haywood County, Tenn. to the late Claudie Ervin and Margaret (McBroom) Ervin on March 26, 1945.
Patricia attended the South Fulton Baptist Church.
She was a retired nurse for the Baptist Memorial Healthcare Systems.
She loved making her own stationary and sending encouraging notes to people.

Patricia loved to cook, but most of all she adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Danny Vaughan of Wingo, Ky., to whom she was married July 25, 1986.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tre Hargett (Dawn) of Hendersonville, Tenn., Shea Hargett (Amanda) of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Loren Vaughan of Ripley, Tenn. and Laura Short (Clark) of Jackson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Cole and Connor Hargett both of Hendersonville, Tenn., Blaine and Bryce Hargett both of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Chisholm Vaughan of Halls, Tenn., Pearson and Peyton Vaughan both of Ripley, Tenn., Loren Michael Short and Payne Short both of Jackson, Tenn. ,and a brother, Claude Ervin (Martha) of Waco, Texas.

Memorial services for Patricia Anne Vaughan were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the South Fulton Baptist Church, with Dr. Ron Cox and Dr. Dean Doster officiating the service. Visitation was held at the Church from 1:30 p.m. Sunday until the hour of service.
