NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE - PADUCAH UPDATE ANNOUNCED

Forecast snowfall totals have increased slightly once again with this forecast update. We now have 5 to 7 inches of snow forecast along the Arkansas/Tennessee border, only decreasing to 4 to 5 inches further north up to the Interstate 64 corridor. This would be a major winter storm for the region with significant travel impacts. 

There will always be a window for surprises in winter storm systems, but the modeling and meteorological signals with this storm have been more consistent than normal and our confidence in most of the area receiving at least 2-3 inches is very high.
