Mr. Charles McCoy a long long resident of Fulton, Ky., passed away Thurs., Jan. 16, 2025 at AHC in Union City, Tenn. He was born Nov. 7, 1937 in Graves County, Ky. to the late Fred McCoy Sr. and Ava Nell Yates McCoy.
Charles served in the United States Army, he was a member of the Riceville Baptist Church and was a mechanic for Riceville Repair Service located in Fulton, Ky.
He is survived by several brothers and sisters, Julia Reynolds of Ripley, Tenn., Robert (Judy) McCoy of Union City, Tenn., Sara Lou Sanders of Fulton, Ky., Fred (Linda) McCoy of Palmetto, Ga., Sam McCoy of Wingo, Ky. and Jesse (Dianne) McCoy of Union City, Tenn.
In addition to his wife, Virginia Louise Moore McCoy, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rachael Vaughn, three brothers, J.E. McCoy, Jerry McCoy and Billy Jo McCoy.
Mr. McCoy's pallbearers will be, Tony McCoy, Tommy Vaughn, Jeffrey Vaughn, Randy Lynch, Skylar Hall, Jessie Rushing and Terry Ray Lynch.
Funeral services for Mr. Charles McCoy will be held Mon., Jan. 20, 2025 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Fulton at 2 p.m., with Bro. Richard Hart officiating. Visitation will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Fulton Mon., Jan. 20, 2025 at 11 a.m., with burial to follow at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
