Banquet tickets for sale; Award nominees listed

The Twin Cities of Fulton, Ky.-South Fulton, Tenn. Chamber of Commerce will stage the annual Chamber Awards Banquet Tues., April 15 at 6 p.m. at Southern States in South Fulton.
Tickets are now on sale, at $40 each or $350 for 10 tickets, to Chamber members, with ticket sales to open up for the public on March 24.
The Chamber office, located in the South Fulton Municipal Complex, will be open Tues. and Thurs., March 11 and 13; Tues. and Thurs., March 18 and 20; and Mon.-Tues., March 24-25.
Ticket holders will be treated to dinner, a cash bar, silent auction fundraiser, and enjoy guest speaker, Coach A.W. Hamilton, Eastern Kentucky University Head Men’s Basketball Coach, current ASUN Coach of the Year and NABC District III Coach of the Year.

This year, Chamber Board members will vote for winners in categories including Citizen of the Year, Young Business Professional of the Year, Business of the Year, Industry of the Year, First Responder of the Year and The Citizens Bank will present the Community Service Award. Teacher of the Year nominees will be submitted by the Fulton Independent School District and South Fulton Schools, in the Obion County School District.
Nominees for Business of the Year are Constant Auctions, Twin Cups Coffeehouse, First Community Bank of the Heartland, Two Doors Down Boutique, Vine + Branch, Stephen’s Flower Truck, Fulton Electric System, Butterfly Lane Boutique, Southern State, P & R Tire and The Current.
Nominees for Industry of the Year include Berry Global, Premier Portable Buildings, Waymatic and Kayser Automotive Systems.
Nominees for Young Business Professional of the Year include Mason Lee, Ashley Fortner, Mitchell Maynard, Jake Clapper, Brandon Mayo, Skylar Britt and Kristin Grooms.
Nominees for Citizen of the Year include Jessica Lee, Pete Algee, Terry Sullivan, Angela Kelly, Lynnita Pierce, Jake Clapper, Makenna Brooke Naugle, Allen Poole, Melanie Gunn, Kathye Glasgow Stem and Benita Fuzzell.
Nominees for First Responder of the Year are Kevin Kelley, Adam Ledezma, Kenneth Walker, Alyssa Taylor, Charles Taylor, John Curtis, Dominique White and Kenney Etherton.
Nominees for Educator of the Year include Dawn Robertson, South Fulton Middle/High School, Tammy Malray, South Fulton Elementary School, Melissa Martin, Fulton Independent School (Middle/High School) and Cyndi Brown, Fulton Independent School (Carr Elementary).
