AREA OBITUARIES -- KATHRYN WHITE

Mary Kathryn White, 80, of Hickman, Ky. passed away 12:50 p.m. Mon., March 10, 2025, at Countryside Center for Rehab & Nursing in Bardwell, Ky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thurs., March 13 in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Crowell and Bro. Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services.

Pallbearers will be Larry Don Jones, Jacob Henderson, Daniel White, Devon Bowling, Richard Kaufman and Zachary Harris.

Kathryn was born Nov. 4, 1944, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Wilson and Edith (Sividon) Stowe. She married James Harold White on Oct. 4, 1974. He preceded her in death Aug. 6, 2023. Kathryn had been employed as a waitress in Chicago for 40 years. She was a member of Sassafras Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Daryl White and wife Sandy, of Brookfield, Ill., and Ronnie White, and wife, Melissa, of Hickman, Ky.; one sister, Shelley Bell, of Union City, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Parker and Judy Jones; and one brother Danny Stowe.
