Grandparents Day to be celebrated at Carr Elementary

All Carr Elementary grandparents are invited to have lunch with students on Tues., Sept. 16. 

Times, by grade, are: 10:30 a.m. Head Start / preschool; 11 a.m. kindergarten ; 11:20 a.m. first grade ; 11:40 a.m. second grade, 12 noon third grade; 12 noon Frazier; 12:15 p.m. fourth grade; and 12:15 p.m. fifth grade.

Lunch will be $5.05 per grandparent, and correct change is appreciated. 

Grandparents are asked to enter Carr Elementary through the front door by pressing the buzzer to be admitted. Kentucky law requires everyone to show state-approved photo ID. 

Also, USDA regulations do not allow outside food to be brought in. Student ambassadors will escort you to the cafeteria. 

After lunch you are welcome to visit your grandchild’s classroom before saying goodbye. Letters are being sent home. RSVP so the school cooks enough for everyone.
