AREA OBITUARIES – Kenneth Baker Clark

Kenneth Baker Clark, age 99, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away on Tues., Dec. 16, 2025, at Van Ayer Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center in Martin, Tenn.
He was born on Aug. 7, 1926, in Jeffersontown, Ky., to the late James Paul Clark, Sr., and Selma Baker Clark.
He was a devoted member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy radioman on the USS Casson Young during World War II. He enjoyed a long and distinguished career, serving as Regional Manager of Dining Services for Eastern Airlines before later working for the United States Postal Service, from which he retired as a clerk.
He spent most of his life in Louisville, Ky., and relocated to this area in 1999. He was a pilot and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Gary) McDaniel, of South Fulton, Tenn.; his grandson, Ryan (April) McDaniel; four great-grandchildren, Maddie, Jack, Lucille, and Jon Ryan; a sister, Gayle Trautwein, of Louisville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Virginia Clark; his son, Darrell Kenneth Clark; his granddaughter, Marni McDaniel; and two brothers, Willis Clark and James Paul Clark; and a sister, Rita Gellhaus.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Mon., Dec. 29, 2025 at the Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South Fulton. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
