SFHS Lady Red Devils fall to Lake County

The South Fulton High School Lady Red Devils dropped their second match of the season Tues., Aug. 18, falling to the Lake County Lady Falcons, 3-0, in varsity girls volleyball action.
South Fulton battled throughout the match but came up short in all three sets. Lake County took the opening set, 25-14, before claiming the second set, 25-19. The Lady Falcons then closed out the match with a 27-25 victory in the third set.
Despite the loss, South Fulton showed a strong fight in the final set, pushing Lake County beyond the standard 25-point mark before the Falcons secured the 27-25 win.
The Lady Red Devils are now 0-2 on the season, while Lake County improved to 1-1.
Haley Dance led South Fulton with six kills, while Rylee Morris posted a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage on two kills.
The Lady Red Devils will host Bradford Thurs., Aug. 20 at 5 p.m.
