Bro. Robert “Bob” Macklin, a resident of Hickman, died Oct. 29 at his residence. He was 58.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 4, at the First Church of God in Hickman. Burial will follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Carol Stanfield Macklin, whom he married Sept. 23, 1988; one son, Justin Devon Macklin of Hickman; one daughter, Amanda Carol Macklin of Hickman; two grandchildren, Gavin Devon Macklin and Greyson Gene Macklin, both of Hickman; one daughter-in-law, Ashlee Kay Macklin, of Hickman; and one son-in-law, Christopher Alan Pick, of Hickman.

Born June 24, 1962 in Hickman, he was the son of the late Clarence Devon and Betty Jean Jones Macklin.

He was a member of the First Church of God in Hickman, where he was the current acting Pastor. He was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel and had worked for Herman Jenkins in Union City, Tenn., in the service department. He was also a musician and lived all of his life in Hickman.
