All District Announcement
November 13, 2020
Dear Pilot Families,
We believe transparency is crucial to keep everyone safe. Today, Nov. 13, we have one staff member to test positive for COVID-19. The Fulton County Elementary school grades K-4 will be closed to in-person instruction Nov. 16 through Nov. 27 as a safety measure for the school.
NTI instruction will be conducted for the next two weeks. An additional all call will give further instructions on Nov. 16. Students who have internet access will have NTI lessons online and virtual students will continue their instructions as directed by their teachers.
Fulton County Preschool, Fulton County Middle School, and Fulton County high school will remain opened and will continue their normal schedule.
As always, the goal of Fulton County Schools is to ensure the safety of students and staff while providing the best possible education during these unprecedented times. If your child is sick, has tested positive for COVID-19, or is quarantined from a recent exposure we ask that you contact the school nurse, Natasha Fields, to help us with our contact tracing effort.
If your student(s) has been in contact with the positive case, you will be notified. Your support and commitment are greatly appreciated as we work through this together. As always, Pilots Will Prevail!
